Las Vegas is turning louder, darker, and heavier as Sick New World 2026 prepares to take over the city on April 25 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. After the cancellation of the 2025 edition, the highly anticipated festival returns bigger than ever, bringing together some of the biggest names in nu-metal, hard rock, industrial, and alternative music for one explosive day.

Headlined by System of a Down and Korn, this year’s lineup also features powerhouse performances from Bring Me the Horizon, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, Danny Elfman, AFI, Ministry, Knocked Loose, and many more, making it one of the most stacked heavy music festivals of the year. Live Nation confirmed the festival date and major lineup announcement back in October 2025, with ticket options including GA, GA+, VIP, and VIP Cabanas for fans looking for premium access.

But before the main event begins, Las Vegas is already buzzing with official pre-event side shows happening on Friday, April 24. These intimate venue performances give fans a chance to catch artists up close before the massive festival crowds arrive. Highlights include Mastodon with Melvins at The Chelsea, Poison the Well at House of Blues, and P.O.D. hosting an official pre-party set at Resorts World. These sideshows have become a major part of the Sick New World experience, giving the entire weekend a true festival-city takeover feel.

Festival organizers are also encouraging fans to plan transportation early. The venue is just minutes from Harry Reid International Airport, and the festival grounds are most easily accessed by walking, rideshare, or the Las Vegas Monorail via the Sahara Station. There is no direct passenger vehicle access to the grounds, making early planning essential for out-of-town attendees. Official rideshare drop-off will be located at 810 Circus Circus Drive near the south entrance of the venue.

For many fans, Sick New World represents more than just a festival—it’s a full destination weekend. Hotels along the Strip are already seeing increased demand, with nearby stays like Fontainebleau, Resorts World, and Sahara offering quick access to the grounds.
