Metallica held their 4th annual Helping Hands Concert & Auction at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, CA, on December 13th, 2024. Their organization, All Within My Hands, is dedicated to:
Supporting workforce education
Fighting hunger
Supporting local services
Enriching communities
The event will be streamed on YouTube on December 16, 2024, featuring an impressive lineup of performers, including Metallica, Sammy Hagar & Friends, and SistaStrings. The evening was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, with a number of several special guests, such as The RZA, Tom Morello, and Slash, Jeff Ament , Joe Satriani, making for an unforgettable night of music and camaraderie.

Metallca's "All Within My Hands" foundation raises funds and donates 100% of the proceeds to various charitable organizations. Since its inception, the foundation has contributed over $10 million to these causes, making a significant impact on communities in need.

The crowd was immediately drawn into their performance, which set the tone for an unforgettable evening of musical artistry.
Sammy Hagar is a man who needs little introduction, with a career that spans decades and is marked by legendary achievements. His performance that night was yet another unforgettable chapter in his storied career. Joined by his current band—featuring Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Kenny Aronoff—Hagar delivered a high-energy set that included hits from his time with Van Halen, Chickenfoot, and Montrose. The band's electrifying performance had the crowd on their feet, within moments of the first note.

With over 125 million records sold worldwide, Metallica stands as the biggest heavy metal band in the world and a true force for good. Their set that night was a stunning display of musical versatility, beginning acoustically with pianist Henry Salvia and San Francisco songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Avi Vinocur. Together, they created an intimate, powerful atmosphere as Metallica performed five acoustic songs. After this soulful opening, the band ramped up the energy by going electric, delivering eight more of their iconic hits. From start to finish, it was a spectacular night that left everyone in the building feeling privileged to witness such a monumental evening.
