Thirty years after its underground beginnings, EDC Las Vegas is returning bigger than ever in 2026. The massive dance music festival will once again take over the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from May 15–17, bringing hundreds of thousands of fans together for a weekend that has become a yearly tradition for the electronic music world.

This year feels different though. It’s not just another EDC weekend — it’s the festival’s 30th anniversary.

What started in the mid-1990s as a much smaller rave in Southern California has grown into one of the largest music festivals anywhere in the world. Over the years, EDC became more than a concert. For many people, it became a place tied to memories, friendships, late-night drives into the desert, and sunrise sets that fans talk about for years afterward.

Insomniac is expected to lean heavily into that history for the anniversary celebration.
